Police have been told a 37-year-old man was visiting a home on Banks Street on Monday night when the front door was forced open and he was confronted by two armed men about 10.40pm.
IN OTHER NEWS:
He was treated by paramedics before they transported him to Albury Base Hospital in a stable condition.
A crime scene was established and police launched an investigation into the terrifying incident.
