Residents of a house in Hay were forced into an early morning evacuation after a fire started in the living room.

NSW Fire and Rescue were called to the Cadell Street property just before 4am on Monday morning following reports of a fire.
Upon arrival, emergency services found the fire in the living room, with all persons already evacuated from the house.
No injuries were reported at the scene.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze through the morning and handed the house back to residents at 7.25am.
At about 8.45am, a small spot fire reignited at the property and was extinguished by FRNSW shortly after.
