Kooringal hosts Lake Albert at Harris Park on Saturday and it shapes as by far the side's best chance to play.
The team is itching for their shot.
"All the boys just want to play some cricket at the moment," Hanigan said.
"It has been disappointing, especially last week when we were the only ground in Wagga not to get on but you can't control the weather or control those things so the boys are really pumped up for the weekend."
David Bolton, Andrew Dutton and Marc Vincent all come back into the team.
Hanigan believes it will be a big boost to their batting depth.
"It definitely strengthens our batting with Bolts opening and Dutto at number four," he said. "If you throw those two into any team it is going to make them stronger so we're happy they are back.
"Hopefully from now on in we can start getting back to full strength."
However Nathananel Mooney will miss the clash.
Lake Albert started the season with a six-wicket loss to Wagga City.
They managed 103 against the Cats, with Josh Coyte scoring 42 of them.
However Hanigan doesn't want to underestimate his rivals after their showing against the premiers.
"They obviously didn't have the best of games last week but it is a new week and a new team," he said.
"You can't go into any game thinking you are going to win.
"You can think you are going to play well but you can't expect to win and have to rock up and play for it."
