Talbot has three runners across the 11-race card, plus one more as an emergency, as he looks to rejuvenate his kennel.
"We're back up to full capacity but just have a lot of pups coming through now," Talbot said.
"We retired a few of our older dogs to concentrate on our pups so we're only racing about five at the moment but they are looking fairly promising."
He rates Gobsmacked the best of his chances after a win on debut for the kennel last time out.
After mixing form in Victoria, Talbout was pleased with her win at performance at Wagga two weeks ago .
"The main danger is Brian Honey's dog (Dodge The Heat) but looking at the rest of the field I think she will go pretty close," Talbot said.
"She is coming out of three again so I'm expecting her to go pretty close.
"She had a few niggling injuries when she was sent up here but is coming along nicely and I think she will run a bit further too later on down the track."
After being placed in his last two starts, Talbot also has Third Exit looking to go one better.
He's confident the smaller field will suit in The Appliance Man (525m) after he gets back out to his preferred distance.
"The small field with a vacant box beside him will suit," Talbot said.
"It is a handy race on its own and Rodney McDonald has a pretty handy dog in there (Tony's Rescue) but if we can get around the first corner clean I think he will give a bit of cheek."
Talbot also has Dont Tell Lindy in the last race after a promising third at Goulburn last time out.
The first of 11 races gets under way at 6.46pm.
