The 22-year-old will have her first race rides just over a week after linking with Wagga trainer Gary Colvin.
Williams rated Flying Cyril the best of her three chances.
After starting to ride track work five years, Williams is excited to take the next step in her career.
"I'm looking forward to it," Williams said.
"There is a lot to think about it but I'm excited for it and it is something I've waited for for quite some time.
"There is always that touch of nerves being my first day but I have a lot of good people who have supported me."
Williams came through pony club and focused on eventing before trying her hand riding track work on the Border as a teenager.
Her love of racing has flourished since then.
Just as COVID-19 struck Williams made the move to Wagga linking with partner Nick Heywood.
The fellow jockey has been a big sounding board as she embarks on her apprentice.
"He's tough but he has taught me a lot and I wouldn't be where I am without him," Williams said.
Colvin expects a good showing from the 22-year-old.
"She's having her first rides on the weekend and I'm looking forward to it," Colvin said. "She is a very competent rider and a very smart girl."
Colvin didn't accept with any of his chances due to the predicted rain but expects to leg Williams on board at Wagga next week.
"It's a pity I couldn't give her a ride but that is the way it goes," he said. "I'm good friends down there with Peter Maher and they have a pretty good ride for her so hopefully she goes good."
Williams used to do a lot of track work on Flying Cyril and she expects the rain won't dampen his chances.
"He does like wet tracks so that will definitely be a plus for him and I do know the horse quite well," she said.
Williams is also set to ride Mythical Goddess for Heath Maclean and Sundane for Doug Gorrel.
