The exciting outside back shared Young's best and fairest with Blake Hewitt and was also named players' player and best back on Saturday.
The 19-year-old returned to the Cherrypickers this season after the coronavirus interrupted his plans to play for the Canberra under 20s.
He enjoyed his time at home but is looking forward to returning the Raiders full-time after they won the four-team Canberra Raiders Cup competition.
"It was good to come back every week, see the family some more and it was just good to play footy," Hall said.
However it almost didn't happen with the under 20s team getting a late call up.
"It was kinda bad timing (with the Raiders) as they weren't sure if they were playing in the Canberra comp and the group back home was starting back up," Hall said.
"I rang and asked what was the go and they said to give them a week as they were trying to get in the Canberra comp and they rang about five days later saying they couldn't get in but they could release me back to Young.
"I signed on and a couple of weeks later a few teams pulled out and they were only left with three teams so they put the 20s team in after I'd signed with Young but it wasn't a bad option."
However changes will see the 19-year-old be available for an extra season with the NRL club with the age group moving to under 21s next year.
