The former Adelaide Crows squad members was one of the Lions' best in Sunday's 30-point elimination final win, which booked them a preliminary final date with Leeton-Whitton at Robertson Oval on Sunday.
Martyn had spent the previous four seasons with NEAFL outfit Canberra Demons, but financial hurdles created by COVID forced the club to withdraw from the 2020 season.
"I'm not too sure what I'm doing next year, I don't have any more plans to go to the NEAFL, but I had a great time and it was a really good experience," he said.
"It's unfortunate for the region (that the Demons have withdrawn), not just Canberra but the south coast region because it was that nearby pathway for guys here to play at a higher level.
"I'm not sure what I'm doing next year, the focus for me is to concentrate on beating Leeton next week and try and take out this competition."
The Lions copped a massive blow in the dying second of Sunday's win when highly-rated young forward Nick Kennedy broke his collarbone in a marking contest.
GGGM coach Christin Macri was confident Riley Corbett (ankle) would return for his first AFL Riverina Championship game since round two in what would be an ideal replacement.
Martyn played with Corbett at the Demons last year and hoped he would be able to prove his fitness.
"You'd love to see Riley Corbett coming back in this competition," he said.
"It's unfortunate for Nick. It dampens the win a bit because he's been a massive part of our journey over the last six games, and a big focal point for us up forward that straightens us up.
"Fingers crossed it's not too bad for him, with him going on to bigger and better things next year hopefully he can recover quickly.
"I had a look at Leeton last week and their first half was really slick. Their prime ball movers in Jeromy Lucas and Lucas Meline, we have to shut them down."
