The Wagga club proved too strong for crosstown rivals Kangaroos at Equex Centre on Saturday to ensure they head into a third straight finals campaign with winning form.
Despite a slow start their left edge again showed their scoring prowess in the 38-16 win.
James Morgan and Jordan Little both scored doubles while Dylan McLachlan crossed once in another masterful performance.
Captain-coach Cameron Breust was thrilled with his efforts to help the club bounce back from a heavy loss to Tumut.
"Dylan just absolutely carved them up as was brilliant," Breust said.
"It was another great effort from Dylan.
"It was like he had spiders on him."
Brothers are on the hunt for their first finals win in nine years when they host Young in the minor semi-final on Saturday.
They've failed to win any of their three wins in the past two seasons, but Breust is hoping having a more settled line up will help after coming through the clash unscathed.
"We were quite lucky and it is not like us to not get any injuries in the same game of the season but touch wood we are all healthy," he said.
It took Brothers 26 minutes to open the scoring, when McLachlan found Cade Price with a kick and added to their lead three minutes later through Nick Hay.
Kangaroos got on the board through Hamish Starr just before half-time however Breust was pleased with how they kicked on after the 10-4 advantage.
"We did it tough to half-time and kept them in the game and our completion rate wasn't fantastic," he said.
"We spoke about what we wanted to do as a group at half-time and it was really pleasing to see we did everything that was asked and did it quite comfortably."
Brothers take on Young, who they downed 32-18 last month, on Saturday as they look to stay in the finals race.
Meanwhile the loss ends a tough season for Kangaroos, who managed just the one win from their seven games after bringing in plenty of new faces during Hayden Ashcroft's first season.
