After Leeton nailed their first 14 shots on goal in last week's AFL Riverina Championship win over Turvey Park on Saturday, the gag was whoever blotted the copybook first would be playing reserves this week.

While coach Daniel Muir didn't give up the offender after his side went into the main break with a 14.1 (85) tally, he was rapt with his forward set-up.

Jade Hodge bagged five goals at full forward, while centre-half forward Cooper Sharman continued his impressive start to the season with three goals in a best on ground display.

The Crows are the only unbeaten team after two rounds heading into Saturday's test against last year's Riverina League premiers Wagga Tigers at Robertson Oval.

"There was a bit of a running joke going on where the first player to kick a behind gets dropped," Muir said.

"The week before we struggled across half forward, but last week I think we kicked 14 straight at one stage.

"It's really pleasing to see how we practice moving the footy at training put into action, and we've got plenty of different avenues to goal."

Muir is preparing his team for a clutch fortnight which he feels could "make or break" their premiership aspirations.

After the Tigers they host Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong, who faded late on the weekend to lose to the Tigers by a point.

"The next two weeks are going to make or break our season. We've set ourselves for a big game against the reigning premiers," he said.

"We're not worried about being the hunted or anything like that, we just want to play the brand of footy we have for the last two weeks."

Muir missed the win over the Bulldogs with a minor hamstring niggle after missing most of last season with a shoulder injury, but was named to return against the Tigers.
