Wagga City Council has allowed traffic back on the full-length of the road this morning at a reduced speed limit of 40 kilometres an hour.
The speed limit will be in place until line marking and school zone signage are finished. In the meantime, the council has warned drivers to allow for extra travel time to cater for the slower speeds.

The upgraded road passing The Riverina Anglican College at Boorooma will be able to service the busy traffic from the hundreds of children taken to and from school every day and the rapid residential growth at the northern suburbs.
The multimillion-dollar upgrade funded by Wagga City Council included the widening and reconstruction of the full-length of Farrer Road and additional turning lanes outside TRAC and at Coolamon Road to improve traffic flow.
The project also included tree removals, widening the road corridor and the relocation of a 1.6 kilometre pressure gas main.
