Event organiser Holly Conroy recently announced the second Mardi Gras would take place on March 13 2021.
Following the news, Charles Sturt University announced its intention to remain a major sponsor of the event, which it has been supporting since its inception in 2019.
Ms Conroy said she had been encouraged by the positive response to the announcement of the event date, which came through social media app TikTok.
"I'm super excited to get back into it and put this year behind us," she said.
"I love that Charles Sturt University is involved again, and I am looking forward to a long, prosperous relationship with the University."
