The Murrumbidgee region's COVID-19 count has risen again after a resident of the Junee Shire tested positive for coronavirus.

The person has recently returned from overseas and is currently in hotel quarantine in Sydney.
The person is Junee's first confirmed case.
This case is included in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District's figures because they are based on the residential addresses of those who are tested.
There have now been 50 cases of COVID-19 recorded in the MLHD since the pandemic began.

There hasn't been a positive COVID-19 diagnosis in the Wagga local government area since April 3.
As of Thursday 30,176 COVID tests have been conducted in the Murrumbidgee region, including 674 in the past 24 hours.
The MLHD is urging the community to come forward and be tested as quickly as possible to reduce the spread of the virus.
Anyone who is feeling unwell with symptoms such as sore throat, cough, fever or shortness of breath should stay home and be tested, even if their symptoms are mild.
