The club came to the decision at a meeting on Wednesday night.
The Blues have also decided to pull their junior teams out of the South West League for the 2020 season.
The club's decision comes just nine days out from the start of the Farrer League season, but also only a day after the Victorian border was closed due to fears coronavirus could spread into NSW.
The Daily Advertiser understands the club circulated a statement to players and supporters after the meeting.
"Tonight the CFNC Commitee decided to not participate in the Farrer Football Netball Club and the South West Juniors FNL 2020 season," the statement read.
"We made the decision due to the concerns of the safety of our players, volunteers, supporters and community in these uncertain times.
"We are also concerned about the possibility the NSW Govt announcing further restrictions in and around our region and the effect of these restrictions in the season.
"Thank you to all the players for their efforts so far and we look forward to having you all back in season 2021."
It leaves just seven clubs in the Farrer League this season after Barellan withdrew last month when AFL Riverina called for team nominations.
The AFL Riverina board met on Tuesday night and resolved to push ahead with the 2020 season, and the start on Saturday week, July 18.
AFL Riverina will release a policy by the end of the week banning Victorian residents from taking part in the competition.
On Tuesday, Coleambally president Glen Tooth told The Daily Advertiser the club had serious concerns about the season.
"We don't think it's viable. It's just the whole situation with players coming up (from the Victorian border regions)," Tooth said on Tuesday.
"With the players coming in, it's not a true Farrer League competition anyway. But safety is the major issue in our eyes. That's what we've spoken to AFL Riverina about. The safety of players and the community.
"Elderly people can't go to the game, with what's happening down there (in Victoria).
"Before they closed the borders, we don't know who's been going where, if people have gone to Melbourne for work from Albury.
"We've got an older community here (in Coleambally), we've got a nursing home, and an older generation living in town. Personally, I wouldn't want to be responsible for an outbreak happening here."
The Farrer League draw will now again have to be redone. The Blues were set to host Marrar at Coleambally in round one.
