Painting drives in each of the seven races on the card, but is particularly keen on the four he has for uncle David Kennedy.
He's hoping for some luck.
"I haven't had a decent book of drives like this for a while," Painting said.
"Normally when it looks like this something goes wrong but hopefully everything goes to plan and I might be able to get a couple of winners."
Painting starts the night off with Jeronimo Joe, who has been placed in two of his last three starts.
After winning twice in his first preparation for the Euroley trainer, Painting expects the five-year-old is finally reaching peak fitness.
"He's come back from a bit of a let up and as he's a big, thick horse he's taken a couple of runs to come right but I think he should be spot on," he said.
"He definitely gets his chance to beat that lot."
Painting follows it up with Harry Ovens, who he rates as his best chance.
The three-year-old has won his had a win and a second in two starts for Kennedy.
"He's actually a pretty nice horse and I have a fair opinion of him," Painting said.
"He's probably my best of the night as he's pretty versatile and can sit wherever and hopefully beat that field."
After a second at Leeton last time out he remains at the B level meeting with an eye not to accrue too many points for a chance to win a Vicbred bonus.
"I think he run his last half in 56 and change and you can't go much quicker around Leeton and he was three wide doing it," Painting said.
"I think he's got a little bit of class on them and we're racing him in the restricted races so we can get our Vicbred at a lower grade when they decide to open the border for us."
Painting also has Mammals Prince looking to make it a hat-trick of wins after a freshen up.
He's drawn ideally but may need the run before getting back to full fitness.
"We gave him a let up so we won't be looking to knock him around but he definitely has the ability to beat them," Painting said.
"If he can get a nice run he will be thereabouts for sure. He is always around the money."
The last of the quartet is a newcomer to the stable in Adria.
She won two of her three starts as a two-year-old last season but has only been placed once in eight attempts this time around.
However after drawing barrier seven, Painting believes she will need some luck.
"It's obviously a tricky draw from inside the second row but her work has been pretty good since she's been here," he said.
"She'll definitely improve off the run but is another one who will be around the mark and if I can get a little luck in running she will be finishing off over the top of them hopefully."
He also drives Mach Sam for Kim Hillier, Master Of Illusion for Peter Dennis and Whatta Sticky Beak for Noel Maxwell.
The first of seven races starts at 5.06pm.
