As at 8am on Tuesday, the total number of identified COVID-19 positive patients in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District remained at 45.
There are 39 recovered cases, and currently no hospitalisations. A total of 3581 people have been tested for COVID-19 in MLHD.
On Monday, there was news that follow-up testing had shown a man in his 60s from the Wagga area, who initially returned a "low positive", was now showing as negative.
The MLHD recently expanded screening criteria to enable more people to be tested for COVID-19. Anyone with respiratory symptoms or unexplained fever should be tested.
Testing is important to track all known cases of COVID-19, according to the MLHD's director of public health Tracey Oakman.
Mrs Oakman said he earlier the virus is detected, the more quickly the risk of transmission can be identified.
"If we can contact and isolated people who may have become infected before they become sick, then they're not spreading it to other people," she said.
The most common symptoms of COVID-19 include fever and a dry cough. Some people also experience sore throat, shortness of breath, or runny or stuffy nose.
Anyone who believes they may have contracted the virus should call the Murrumbidgee COVID-19 Hotline on 1800 831 099 - which is open every day between 7am and 9pm - for a confidential over the phone assessment.
