The club followed many across the state by reopening its gates after a change of stance from the NSW Government and Golf NSW.
Club officials met on Sunday afternoon to decide a course of action after it closed its gates on Monday due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
While Wagga Country Club reopened at midday on Thursday, Wagga City Golf Club remained shut until Sunday's meeting, where the issue was to be discussed.
Wagga City Golf Club head professional Scott Lennox informed members on Sunday evening that the course will be open three days a week to members only.
"l have opened the course to allow you to enjoy your weekly walk only so please make sure you keep the rules," Lennox said in a statement.
The club will be open on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 7am-2pm for members' social golf only. Golfers have been instructed to leave the course before 2pm.
A bonus to the decision to reopen is the club's new greens will be in play to try out. The club has been using makeshift greens for the past six months.
Playing groups have been restricted to two with strict social distancing to be applied.
Members will be able to access an online time sheet from Tuesday 5pm for bookings.
