Chasing an outright victory to make finals, the Bulls had just one wicket to spare as they chased down Wagga RSL's 124 at Wagga Cricket Ground on Saturday.
Scott Billington guided the team to victory with the number 10 batsmen finishing unbeaten on 13.
Lake Albert resumed at 7-90 and looked in big trouble with Jacson Sommerville (26) was removed, but Billington and Sam Quinton (one not out) managed to find the eight more runs required for the first innings result.
Captain Isaac Cooper was pleased to finish on an winning note.
"It was good to get a win to finish the season," Cooper said. "We made it hard but (Billington) hit a few runs to get us over the line."
Lake Albert then went on the hunt for an outright victory but Todd Henderson led the Bulldogs resistance finishing unbeaten on 36 when play was called off at 2-93.
Despite the loss, Wagga RSL finish the season in fourth and will face St Michaels next week with the winner to keep their season alive.
