TRAC have won three of the last four Wagga schoolboys titles, but face a different opposition this time around.
Mater Dei topped Pool B, while their rivals conquered Pool A, so the clash at Geoff Lawson Oval will be the first time the two have met this season.
Both qualified for the decider in impressive fashion.
TRAC took a comprehensive win over Wagga High, in a rematch of last year's decider, while Mater Dei were equally as impressive against Kildare Catholic College.
It was in stark contrast to their dramatic final over win against Kooringal High School to qualify for finals, where two run outs in the final over saw them sneak home by three runs.
However with plenty of first grade experience in the side, Mater Dei are looking for an upset.
Strong performances from Jacob Ferguson (42 not out) and Edouard Grigg (26 not out) set up their nine-wicket victory in the semi.
However coach Nick Fahey believes it is their bowling attack who has really tall throughout.
"Our bowling has been pretty strong and it is the key to T20," Fahey said.
"We defended 70 in the first game so to be able to do that bodes well for the semi-final."
Meanwhile TRAC come into the clash with plenty of confidence after an eight-wicket victory.
Captain Sam McCready expects a big challenge but has faith in the side who has plenty of big match experience.
"Everyone in their game and our team have played against each other a fair bit so we know what is going on," McCready said.
"They've got a strong line up but I think we will go alright."
Joe Martin comes into the clash in fine form after snaring a hat-trick in the win over Wagga High.
But looking to fight strength with strength, McCready is chasing for a big batting performance with Jacob Manley and Ryan Collins coming into the clash in good form.
"We've got a great side," he said.
"We've got a pretty strong batting line up and our bowlers have been going really well.
"All of our players have been performing at a pretty high standard lately so I'm pretty confident."
The final is expected to start around 4.15pm following the third-placed play-off between Wagga High and Kildare.
