Cassidy will be the headline act at Mark and Tim Maguire's Temora Golf Day and Dinner on Saturday, February 15.
The fundraiser is part of the Maguire brothers' Riverina Redneck Rally campaign, where all funds raised go directly to Country Hope.
"It should be a good day and night," Tim said.
"Jimmy is a great guest speaker and we've also got some unreal auction items."
The Riverina Redneck Rally raised $330,000 last year and has already surpassed that mark this year ahead of the six-day event next month.
It is the second time the Maguire brothers will participate in the Rally after raising just over $16,000 last year, which put them equal first of the 70 teams.
This year, 90 teams will take part as the Rally begins at West Wyalong on March 1 and finishes at Nelson Bay on March 6. The teams, plus their support crews, will travel about 2500 kilometres over the six days.
The golf day will consist of a two-person ambrose, with lunch included, before Saturday night's dinner, which includes Cassidy as guest speaker, a memorabilia auction and local band, 1979.
Among the auction items are the winning silks Cassidy wore to victory on Kiwi in the 1983 Melbourne Cup, a boot signed by some Melbourne Cup winners, a football signed by Hawthorn's 2020 squad and much more.
