A large crowd gathered at the town's racetrack on Saturday, where they witnessed Southern Gamble beat Blazing Ash to take out this year's $14,000 Tumbarumba Cup.
The town boasts one of the most unique racetracks in country racing and is one of very few in NSW to race in the anti-clockwise direction.
The Daily Advertiser photographer Les Smith was at the event and captured all the action - both on and off the track.
