The 20-year-old scored two wins in the Invitational Drivers Series, to help him claim that victory, before also winning the Milbrae Quarries Final with Hey Suzie on Sunday.
The Young reinsman was thrilled with how the night panned out.
"It was awesome," Micallef said.
Micallef had driven a double twice before going one better.
His double tally would have one higher if not for losing a race on protest, and this time around he was the benefactor of a stewards decision after a successful protest saw Funnily Enough take victory.
Micallef got the win over Will Rixon, who had already driven a double on the night.
"It's not nice to get it on protest as at the end of the day we are all mates out there but it is good to get another win for the local trainer," he said.
"You can't beat that."
Micallef then drove Hey Suzie to victory for Nathan Turnbull.
The mare had been stabled in Young with Turnbull on holidays and the 20-year-old was pleased to hold onto the drive after qualifying the mare for the final.
"We were lucky enough to get a couple of them while he was away," Micallef said.
"She won the heat to get into the final and won the final for him.
"It's always a thrill to be able to do that for a big trainer."
It backed up an earlier win with Outstanding Speaka.
He also finished second on Salvator Mundi for Cameron Maggs to earn a three-point victory over Josh Gallagher and Cameron Hart.
Micallef is hoping to keep his good run going at Canberra on Tuesday where he lines up Our Sams Home and Dragon Stride for his father David.
