The Bulls became the first team to beat the Blues last week and face another big test against second placed St Michaels at Rawlings Park on Saturday.
Lake Albert snapped a four-match losing streak and captain Isaac Cooper is hoping that form transitions to the shorter one-day format.
"They are in good form but carrying form in two-dayers but dropping back to a one-dayer anything can happen," Cooper said.
"It would be good to be more complete than in previous weeks."
Lake Albert will be without Josh Coyte this week, who has rocketed to fourth in the competition's top runscorers.
However they've got a more than handy replacement with Adam Newcombe to play his first match in the top grade this season.
"He's been scoring plenty of runs in second grade so hopefully he can come up into the first grade side and keep producing," Cooper said.
