Police have apprehended several drivers following the annual Snake Gully Cup event over the weekend.
Beginning on Friday, the event in Gundagai lay host to thousands, and continued with similar crowds during Saturday's Hair Of The Dog racetrack event.
Throughout Friday, Riverina District Police suspended four licenses on the spot.
Police apprehended four impaired drivers in Gundagai, on their way to and from the race meeting.
Two tested positive for drugs, while the other two were found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.
Additionally, one defect notice was issued to a driver.
This year's cup on Friday held a record prize pool of $540,000, as the event continues to climb in notoriety towards becoming the most popular race day in the southern district.
Saturday's Hair Of The Dog meeting laid claim to a 1800m race worth a featured $30,000.
