Nineteen months after taking out the Tumut Cup she returned to the track for the first time on Saturday and broke her drought in the process.
Didnt Even Kiss Me won the Tumbarumba and Tumut cups in consecutive meetings but has struggled to regain the same form ever since.
Trainer Scott Spackman was pleased to see her finally return to winning ways.
"I was very happy with that," Spackman said.
"The benchmark system just doesn't suit her at the moment but she's got down to the 58s and that is probably where she needs to be at the moment."
Josh Richards allowed Didnt Even Kiss Me to settle off the speed before making their move.
She just had enough to win a battle up with The Inflamer to score a narrow win.
It was her first win in 18 start but the first for her new connections, Spackman's brother and sister-in-law John and Lisa Spackman.
"It's just great to get her back in winning form," Spackman said.
"It's great for the owners who purchased her, it was the first win for them, and it's just great to see the old girl back."
He's now considering another attempt at Tumut's feature race in the new year, believing she has a preference for the tighter tracks.
Spackman doesn't have any runners at Corowa on Monday but is considering a trip to Rosehill for a Highway Handicap (1500m) with Takissacod, who has won three straight, on Saturday.
