Nicoll finished unbeaten for a fourth straight match as the Cats scored a 69-run win over St Michaels at McPherson Oval on Saturday.
The five-time Brian Lawrence Medal winner finished unbeaten on 71 as Wagga City made 5-238 off 40 overs.
Cats captain Josh Thompson has been thrilled with the impact he's had not only on the scoreboard but one his teammates as well.
"He is a deadset rock in our team," Thompson said.
"It's really good to have someone in their who we can just bat around and build a good score around.
"You always know what you are going to get with him and all the kids just stood up a batted around him."
Blake Walker (46), Max Harper (41) and Nick Cawley (30) all had valueable contributions alongside Nicoll.
St Michaels struggled in response.
The Saints slipped to 4-52 before Nathan Corby (59) came to the crease.
He put on 62 runs with before adding another Saksham Gupta (26) before adding another 53 with Kyle Buckley (30 not out) to put some respectability into their batting innings.
However the Cats were never seriously threatened.
"It was really good to get Wardy (Justin Ward) and Beck (Frostick) out pretty cheaply," Thompson said.
"They both got starts, but it was good to see the back end of them as they would have been the biggest drama if they got going as the wicket was pretty good and the outfield was fairly fast. It felt like we were in control for pretty much the whole innings."
Wagga City have won three of their first four matches will St Michaels have the lone win over Lake Albert to their credit.
