The squads were announced this week with a strong representation from across the region.
Brothers playmaker Wilson Hamblin, Gundagai pair Clay Webb and Bryce Magnone, Tumut's Ethan Gilchrist and Young forward Harry Fitzpatrick have been selected in the Harold Matthews (under 18s) squad.
All have previously been part of the Raiders SG Ball (under 16s) program.
Brothers talent Joseph Oti, Young's Brock and Clay Sing and Junee's Kye Wright have earned their place in the SG Ball squad.
Raiders head of recruitment and high performance Peter Mulholland said it was great to see so many young Riverina talented footballers in the squads.
"It is great," Mulholland said. "There won't be many cuts made from that so those boys have a good.
"The kids are progressing and while there are some big steps to be made it's a great indication with what is going on down there."
The early date of the season allows for players to return to their local clubs.
With the Raiders bringing an NRL game to Wagga this year, and another set down for 2020, Mulholland believes the relationship between the club and the region continues to blossom.
"We've got a good relationship with the junior side of things," he said.
"We have portability to allow players to progress between Riverina and Raiders during the season in the junior reps which is great."
Initial Riverina under 16s and under 18s squads for the Country Championships were also released but a number of changes are expected to be made in the coming weeks.
