In support of Relay For Life, the Step4U team organised the inaugural Walk the Plank event that raised a bounty of more than $2000.
Despite a few nominees quivering in fear from five metres above, the crowd's consensus was they wanted to see them fall, and fall hard.
Each nominee had their own reason for walking the plank yesterday.
For Kooringal High School's deputy principal Helen Schmetzer it was because she accidentally agreed "without hearing the question".
