Aggies are expecting a bumper crowd at Beres Ellwood Oval on Saturday to commemorate the club's history with a clash with their closest rivals CSU.
The two clubs have had contrasting fortunes this season, with Ag College sitting second and CSU winless, however it's a rivalry that transcends form.
Coach Will Mitchell is looking to provide the crowd with something to cheer for as they build into finals.
"We're expecting a big weekend and a lot of support," Mitchell said.
"Then we've got a ball on so it should be a lot of fun."
Ag College come into the clash off their biggest loss of the season.
They trailed Albury 39-0 early in the second half of the clash at Murrayfield last week before scoring three late tries to eventually go down 46-15.
Mitchell thought the Steamers ability to control possession was crucial to their success.
"It wasn't lack of effort, and while we didn't do a lot of things right, when you don't have the ball and you're defending for 60 minutes out of 80 you are going to be fatigued," he said.
"It's a good lesson for any football club that if you hold the ball you will win games of footy.
"He honestly didn't get to touch it except for maybe six or seven minutes in the first half."
Ag College have lost three of their last six games, to finals contenders Waratahs, Wagga City and Albury, but ended Griffith's 10-game winning streak in between.
It has been a mixed bag Mitchell doesn't believe it highlights his team's inconsistency over the second half of the season.
Instead he thinks it is a testament to how even the competition is.
"I think anyone on their day can win," he said.
"If you get a side who rocks up 10 per cent off and another is 10 per cent better it's 60-40 and that's what I think it was against Albury.
"You have to rock up every week and if you don't then that is what happens.
"Every side playing finals has good enough players and good enough structure is beat any other side.
"They just have to turn it on on the day."
Ag College have made one change following the loss to the Steamers, with Charles Callaghan replacing Liam Mowbray in the starting line up.
Pending the upset of the season, Ag College will finish in second place and tackle Waratahs for a place in the grand final next week.
The first week of the finals will be at Conolly Rugby Complex.
There is an earlier start of 3pm.
