The Hoppers continued on their winning way with a 58-point victory over Narrandera at Narrandera Sportsground.
The heavy morning fog meant Jake Barrett and Jeremiah Maslin were stuck grounded in Sydney and were late withdrawals from the Coolamon team.
There was little between the two teams early before a six-goal second quarter gave Coolamon the ascendancy and a 34-point half-time lead.
The second half was a more scrappy affair but Coolamon did enough to kick away with a comfortable victory.
Luke Redfern dominated through the midfield in a best-on-ground performance, while elder brother Joe continued his good form with a five-goal haul.
Coolamon co-coach Jamie Maddox was pleased to get through a potential danger game with the four points.
"They were good," Maddox said of Narrandera.
"It was never going to be easy and they matched it with us early. We got on top in the second quarter and then it was a bit of battle for the last two quarters.
"It was good to get the job done and we played some good footy in patches."
Barrett and Maslin, who were returning from a wedding in Brisbane, withdrew mid-morning on Saturday. The Hoppers pulled Lachie Crawford off in the under 17s to play in the seniors, while Luke McLoughlin was also recalled.
Jordan Hedington was best for Narrandera, along with Stuart Bull and Jack Grintell, while Ryan Price injured his hamstring.
