As others have fallen by the wayside this season, the 22-year-old has started to make a name for himself.
Trevaskis has been in and out of the first grade side for the past couple of years but hasn't missed a game this season.
Given his chance in the centres after an ACL injury to Lachy Cuell, Trevaskis is now the more experienced of the Kangaroos centres.
With Timoci Vatubuli shifting to fullback to cover injury to Cameron Andrews, and Fetongi Tuinauvai's bumper suspension Trevaskis is the more experienced Kangaroos centre.
Proving he's feeling more at home in the role, Trevaskis has scored five tries this season with four of them coming in the last three weeks.
However he wasn't one to take to much credit from the sudden change of form.
"Our back line is starting to gel a bit more," Trevaskis said. "Our passes are sticking and we've got a lot more confidence throwing the ball around.
"The tries are leading on the back of that."
Trevasksis credits Kangaroos coach Glenn Dumbrell for giving him more confidence in the role.
"Glenn is a real big help," Trevaskis said.
"He's very smart, knows what he;s doing and gives you a lot of confidence.
Dumbrell has been impressed with his input, especially in their 52-10 win over Junee last week where he labelled him the team's best.
Trevaskis is looking to step up for the big clash against Southcity at Harris Park on Sunday.
Kangaroos have won four of their last five games to move into sixth place while the Bulls have lost two of their last three, both at home, to slip to third.
Kangaroos have made one change to the side following the big win over Junee.
Hayden Jolliffe returns from a foot injury for the clash and will add some more size to the 'Roos pack.
It was something Bulls coach Kyle McCarthy admitted they struggled with in the loss to Young last week.
Southcity called up 42-year-old Matt Ward to come off the bench against the 'Pickers last week however they welcome Cameron Copeland back into the side this time around.
Kangaroos failed to back up a big win over Gundagai in their last all-Wagga clash however they are looking to adopt approach at Harris Park.
"If we can score some early points and are able to stick it to them we should be able to hold on," Trevaskis said.
"You can't let them go as if they start putting on the points they don't stop."
