After scoring a 33-12 win over Southcity, the Cherrypickers host an in-form Tumut outfit at Alfred Oval on Sunday.
Captain Tom Bush is looking for them to back up a big performance over the Bulls.
He believes completion will be the key.
"Tumut will definitely be confident but we just need to do what we did on the week, complete our sets and move the ball around a bit, but I've got plenty of confidence we can turn over Tumut as well and win all our games to finish off the season," Bush said.
Young have won their last two games to sit five points behind fifth placed Brothers with three games to play.
After the Blues they face fourth-placed Albury on the Border before taking on winless Cootamundra.
It's the second straight year the Cherrypickers made a late rally and Bush, in his fifth season at the club, isn't sure why it has been taking them so long to perform.
"I don't know if it's because we can't make the finals the pressure is off and we've decided to play a little bit," he said.
"(Last year) when we couldn't make finals we decided it was time to start playing, which is a bit strange, and whether it's because we've got nothing to lose I just don't know."
Bush admitted it has been another frustrating year as the club struggled to put in full performances.
Five of their nine losses have been by eight points or less and most games have involved dramatic swings of form.
However Bush wasn't shocked to take a win over one of the competition heavyweights.
"It didn't surprise me that we beat them (Southcity), I knew we were always capable of doing that, but we've just not done it," he said.
"It has been a very frustrating year.
"Most weeks we've been at 40 or 50 per cent completions and you are not going to do anything at the level."
He is hoping to find the cause of the worrying trend so they can turn things around next year under new leadership with coach Roy Jewitt stepping down.
"The last couple of years have been very frustrating," Bush said.
"We've had pretty much the same team that a couple of years ago did really well and were pushing for top spot.
"I'm not sure what has been going wrong in the last few years to get to where we are but we need to find some answers for next year."
Young and Tumut have both named unchanged line ups.
