The Wagga lad weighed 5.6 kilograms, or more than 12 pounds on the old scale when he was born.
Easton's parents Kate and Justin were expecting him to be a "big" baby when he was born, but they certainly didn't expect him to be quite that large.
As he gets ready to celebrate his first birthday on July 2, Easton is still bigger than average.
These days, he weighs in at about 12 kilograms and is crawling around the house after his four-year-old sister Sienna, who was quite a big newborn herself at about four kilograms, and is "cruising" around furniture.
He's also smitten with the family's guinea pigs and dogs.
When he was in hospital, Eaton's large size earned him the nickname "Beaston" and, a year on, the label has stuck, although he also gets "Eastie" as well.
To celebrate his first milestone, Easton will be one of the guests of honour at a party with his godmother and auntie, Lizzie Evans, who is turning 18.
