A 19-year-old male remains in a critical condition at St George Hospital, following a collision with a truck last night.

At about 8.15 on Wednesday evening, emergency services were called to the intersection at Sturt Highway and McNickle Road in Ashmont, involving a car and truck collision.
NSW Police Media spokesperson said the crash occurred outside the Silvalite Fuel Station.
"A Toyota Yarris, driven by a 19-year-old man, travelling south on McNickle Road, Ashmont, and a Hino prime mover, driven by a 54-year-old man, collided at the intersection of the Sturt Highway," the spokesperson said.
"The 19-year-old driver suffered serious head injuries and was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene, before being taken to Wagga Wagga Hospital.
"The passenger of the car, a 19-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries and is undergoing treatment at Wagga Wagga Hospital."
The spokesperson said the driver of the truck was not injured, but was conveyed to hospital by police for "mandatory blood and urine testing".
"Officers from the Riverina Police District are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash," the spokesperson said.
Murrumbidgee Local Health District spokesperson said the 19-year-old male was airlifted by NSW Air Ambulance to St George Hospital in Sydney at about 12.30am.
