The Group 20 senior competition plus Albury, Temora, Tumbarumba and Wodonga in the Group Nine junior league have joined forces with five AFL Riverina competitions to support the fundraising efforts.
Already $50,000 has been raised in the Riverina through the campaign over the past five years.
Chris Daniher has been thrilled by how much support they've already garnered and how to continues to expand.
"The Riverina public have been fantastic in supporting this event," Daniher said.
"Since 2014 over $46 million has been raised and little things like this just add up.
"It is through local people and local community things that have helped to raise this money and awareness."
Daniher is confident fundraising efforts have helped make a big difference already, with plenty of hope for what lies ahead as well.
"There is a great saying that you start by doing the necessary, move to the possible and then you get to the impossible," he said.
"We are getting to the impossible through this $46 million.
"It is going into trials and two have already gone into the next stage as clinical trials for MND sufferers so we are getting closer and closer."
Sock It To MND round will be on June 15 and June 16 with clubs from the Riverina League, Farrer League, Hume League, South West Juniors and Wagga Juniors joining their new rugby league counterparts to wear special socks.
Uranquinty in the Wagga Netball Association are also taking part.
