The Bombers will be without key forward Archie Howard and midfielder Tyler Cunningham after both were injured in last Saturday's win over Charles Sturt University.
Howard will miss five to six weeks with a broken thumb, while Cunningham is out for a month with a torn calf.
Young gun Drew Beaven will also miss the clash against the unbeaten Hawks with his representative under 17 commitments with the Giants Academy.
Marrar coach Shane Lenon said it was unfortunate timing to lose Howard and Cunningham.
"Especially young Archie, he was just starting to get going at senior level," Lenon said.
"Each game he played he was getting a bit better and it was probably a breakout game for him on Saturday. He played centre-half-forward and played really well.
"We're hoping to have both back after our bye."
Howard kicked three second half goals to help Marrar overcome CSU on Saturday, in what was his fourth senior game after making his debut earlier in the year.
He and Cunningham join a lengthy list of sidelined Bombers but Lenon hopes he will get start to get some players back in coming weeks.
John Hoey, Nick Cooper, Rhys Mooney, Blake Walker and Damien O'Donoghue are expected to return from injury in the next fortnight, while former captain Josh Hagar and new recruit Truman Carroll are also only a couple of weeks off playing.
Marrar have already used 34 different players in first grade this season and have managed to land in fourth spot after six rounds with four wins and one loss.
Lenon hopes to get a couple of players back for Saturday's test against the undefeated Hawks.
"(The injuries) are not ideal but we've just got to get on with the job," he said.
"Hoey, Cooper, O'Donoghue, Rhys Mooney and Walker are all a chance this week, depending how they train on Thursday night.
"We're going up against the yardstick so it will be a good challenge."
Saturday will be the Hawks' first game in three weeks after having the club bye last week, following the general bye for representative football and netball the week before.
