Wagga's fastest growing suburbs will gain more than 200 new homes after a subdivision was approved by council staff on Wednesday.

Combined Development Group applied for a staged residential subdivision over two existing lots totalling 35 hectare north of Harris Road at Gobbagombalin.
The 214 lots, located between the Old Narrandera Road and Paradise Drive intersections, will vary in size from 629 square metres to 22,900 square metres.
The subdivision will require a new road to provide access to Harris Road, as well as the construction of underground electricity lines, telecommunications, and sewer and drainage services.
Combined Development Group is a company based on Sydney's Lower North Shore that was also involved in the Estella Rise housing development.
Combined Development Group managing director Graham Walker told The Daily Advertiser that the company was not prepared to comment at this stage.
"We haven't got any other plans at the moment in terms of start times as we are still analysing and we will probably know what in the next couple of weeks," he said.
The estimated cost for the subdivision was listed at $6.4 million.
Wagga City Council has placed additional conditions on the pending construction stages "to reduce erosion, stormwater and dust issues" and prevent "a detrimental effect" on developments adjoining the site.
The current site includes "two dwellings and a number of outbuildings" and a "large number of trees" that would have to be removed to allow for new homes and infrastructure, according to the application.
The open land within the site has been used for livestock and broadacre farming.
Council imposed a condition on the approval that "compensatory tree planting must use a minimum 10 to one ratio of trees planted for each native tree to be removed from the Harris Road road reserve".
"Revegetation and landscaping should use locally native species from seed or local provenance," the consent report stated.
The approved subdivision is adjacent to land further south-west that is subject to a development application for a 204-lot residential subdivision by a separate company.
There are also two other proposed subdivisions in the surrounding area each applying for about 100 new homes.
