Harness racing has long been known as a family-friendly event and this year's Carnival of Cups is no exception.
With it's long history dating back more than 60 years it's no wonder trainers and the public alike strive to be part of the carnival which has seen the best pacers of their time win the cup.
The racemeet will be held on Easter Sunday April 21 with gates opening at 11am and racing to start from 12.30pm.
Not only is the quality of racing expected to be high there is also plenty of entertainment for everyone from jumping castles and face painting for the kids to trick riders and singing.
Entertainment between races includes former Voice contestant Nathan Lamont and for the first time trick riders from R.A.C.E Entertainment.
The three riders will put on a spectacular show where the riders do various acts on horseback showcasing their skills in two 10 to 15 minute shows.
Children are well catered for with Play On Wheels, face painting, and a jumping castle all free for the children.
The Cancer Council is the charity for cup day and will be raising money for their cause in a unique way.
"They have put in a lot of work promoting the meeting and will be offering dual sulky rides," Wagga Harness Racing Club chief executive, Graeme White, said.
"This is where a registered driver has a pillion passenger who gets the experience the thrill of sitting behind a pacer in a gig during a warm-up lap."
