Bennelong Dancer will have a short let-up after enhancing her record on the weekend with a third placing in the Country Championship final at Randwick.
Scott is keen to chase a black type or city win which would boost the value of Bennelong Dancer as a broodmare.
"We are pretty keen to head to Brisbane for the winter carnival," Scott said.
"Just from a breeding point of view, if we can get any black type or a city win it would be of enormous value breeding wise."
Scott is mindful of Bennelong Dancer's dislike for wet tracks which is another reason why Brisbane is the preferred option.
"I know it sounds silly that it is a winter carnival and you would expect the track's to be rain affected but they tend not to be," she said.
The Brisbane winter carnival is held in late May and early June.
Scott ruled out targeting the Wagga carnival during the first week of May.
"Wagga is not an option because we can't give her a good enough break with their carnival just over three week's away," she said.
"After running third on Saturday I imagine her rating will go over 80 which also makes it a lot harder to place.
"While she is in form it would be nice to get a city win."
Bennelong Dancer is still eligible to target the Country Championships again next year.
The Country Championships is restricted to galloper's who are Class 5 and below and have had no more than 20 race starts.
Bennelong Dancer is a Class 4 who has had 17 starts.
"Ideally we would love to win a race in Brisbane," she said.
"Then she could go for a spell and have another crack at the Championship's next year.
