The minor premiership was sown up as Lake Albert were bowled out for 89 after surviving less than 90 minutes at McPherson Oval on Saturday to lose by an innings and 22 runs.
After being dismissed for 86 in the first innings then sent back in when Wagga City declared at 5-197 on day one, it was another tough day for the defending premiers.
Dean Crane finished with four wickets to claim 10 for the match and finish on top of the Wagga bowling ranks.
Captain Josh Thompson couldn't be more impressed with his performance.
"All the hard work goes out to Craney taking six wickets last week and he followed that up with an unbelievable performance," Thompson said.
"He took another four today to make it 10 for the match and he's never done that before.
"It's a massive effort from him and we couldn't have done it without him."
After taking Crane 6-27 off 10.2 overs last week he finished with 4-32 off 13.
Max Harper and Aaron Maxwell both picked up two wickets as the Bulls were bowled out in the 31st over.
Nick Skelly top scored with 20.
It's been a big turnaround for the Cats who missed playing finals last season.
They now tackle South Wagga in the first week of the finals, the only side to beat them all season.
"We've got the minor premiership and the fun starts now so everyone is really excited for the next few weeks," Thompson said.
