The club has received 67 nominations for the six-race card.
The $14,000 Tumbarumba Bowling Club & Aristocrat Tumbarumba Cup Benchmark 66 Handicap (1400m) has attracted 14 nominations, including the likes of last start Wagga winner Pastiche, Oh What A Thief, The Walrus, Key Master and hometown hope The Good Mark for Bob Burgun.
Pastiche was an impressive winner at Wagga on Monday for Rodger Waters, who is considering racing the mare on the quick back up at Tumbarumba on Saturday.
The annual race meeting always attracts a big crowd. Tumbarumba boasts one of the most unique racetracks in country racing and is one of very few in NSW to race in the anti-clockwise direction.
The final fields will be out on Thursday.
