Wagga yoga instructor Tiffany Kendall specialises in pre and post-natal exercises in her lessons and said the difference she sees in the ladies attending is amazing.
“It’s not only about the physical benefits, we focus on strengthening the mums’ state of mind and give them a non-judgmental environment to relax in,” Mrs Kendall said.
“Parenthood is exhausting and demanding, so to help mums take a minute for themselves and unwind, even with bub in tow, really helps.”
Mrs Kendall, who has specialised in birth-related yoga for close to two years now with her business Mamabe, said there is also great physical benefits.
“Pre-natal yoga is great for relieving aches and pains and post-natal yoga works to rebuild core and pelvic strength,” she said.
“In the end, our biggest focus is helping mums connect with their babies and enjoy the journey of parenthood.”
