Run by Destination Riverina Murray, the competition asks locals and visitors to snap pictures of the region and post with the hashtag ‘MyRiverinaMurray’ to go into the running to win weekly ‘people’s choice’ awards, and a final prize.
General Manager of Destination Riverina Murray Richie Robinson said the competition is gaining good traction.
“We are really pleased with the campaign so far with over 1,800 posts to Instagram using the #myriverinamurray hashtag,” he said.
The collection of pictures posted to the social media platform are aimed at promoting all the region has to offer and support the tourism industry entering the new year.
The final prize will be drawn after the last round of submission on January 29.
