That's the challenge a new competition is putting to amateur photographers, with organisers of the Spirit of Wagga photography competition wanting to celebrate and showcase the richness of life in the city.
The competition is being run by Committee 4 Wagga, with residents able to enter into four categories people, places, events, and a story of Wagga with each category offering a $500 cash prize.
Organiser Megan Lloyd said the judges would be looking for entries that captured the city's unique vibe and paid homage to its rich history.
"Wagga is known for so many of its achievements, sporting and otherwise," Ms Lloyd said.
"We want a photograph that will represent what it's like to raise a family and live your life in this wonderful city."
The images will be used to promote the city by the Committee 4 Wagga group and a select number of entries will be posted on the Committee 4 Wagga Facebook site.
Entries will also be posted on the Daily Advertiser website.
"We are open to any ideas," Ms Lloyd.
"We want to tap into the great talent in our city."
The competition closes on December 10 with finalists appearing in the Advertiser on December 15.
Entry forms are available online at the Committee 4 Wagga website committee4wagga.com.au, The Daily Advertiser website, or can be picked up from the Advertiser on Trail Street.
