For the third time this season Bolton made at least a half century against the Bulldogs on his way to 66.
He helped the Colts to finish on 8-176 and it proved too much for RSL, who have only won once this season.
They were bowled out, with the last ball of the match, for 156.
While Bolton continues to impress it was newcomer who caught the eye.
Nathan Corby made 26 before picking up three wickets in his first grade debut.
Linking with the club when there is no cricket in Cootamundra, Corby impressed captain Keenan Hanigan.
“He got his opportunity with a few people away and didn’t look out of place at all,” Hanigan said.
“With 26 runs and three wickets you couldn’t ask for a better debut really.”
Hanigan also took three wickets as Colts went five points clear of Lake Albert in third place.
