The club will hold their annual Christmas meeting with plenty of action on and off the track.
Wagga District Greyhound Racing Club’s racing manager John Patton said the meeting was always a popular one ahead of the Christmas period.
“It’s one of our big meetings for the year,” Patton said.
“We’re hoping to get a good crowd along. We’ve got plenty of entertainment as well as a lot of good racing as well.”
The first of 10 races gets underway at 7.04pm. The feature of the night will be The Ladbrokes Boost Xmas Maiden (320m), with $1130 to the winner.
There will also be one heat of the Leo Hartley Memorial, along with heats of the Ladbrokes New Year Cup. Both finals will be held on the following Friday, December 28.
Off the track, Santa Claus will make a special appearance, while there will also be a jumping castle, face painting and plenty of raffles.
There will also be live entertainment from Olivia McDermott.
