Angland is back in Sydney alongside his wife Erin and family after flying from Hong Kong on Sunday.
He has been transferred to Royal North Shore Hospital.
Angland has been in hospital since suffering a bad race fall at Sha Tin on November 25.
The Hong Kong Jockey Club released a short statement that provided an update on Angland.
“Jockey Tye Angland was cleared by doctors for travel and repatriated to Australia on Sunday evening accompanied by his wife Erin and an attending doctor. Tye arrived in Sydney this morning and was transferred to Royal North Shore Hospital,” the statement read.
Erin Angland released a statement on November 29 that confirmed Tye had been cleared of any neurological damage.
She pleaded for privacy during the difficult time.
Angland, the Wantabadgery wonder, returned home to win this year’s Wagga Gold Cup aboard Life Less Ordinary.
