Competing as the High Icues, Boyton and De Camps potted their way through the field with relative ease and dropped just one game before fronting up against seasoned campaigners Terry Storch and John Wells in the big dance.
Storch and Wells were no strangers to the grand final, having previously won the competition, and put High Icues through their paces.
Saints and High Icues won two singles games apiece to force a winner-takes-all doubles showdown.
It was Boyton and De Camps who held their nerve in the end, seeing off Storch and Wells in an entertaining and hard-fought affair.
“It’s certainly a tough competition and when it’s handicapped like that, there not really an easy game,” De Camps said.
“We probably went into the final as favourites but it was a good tough game against John and Terry.”
