President Stephen Cook said the club is proud to continue a long-established tradition with athletes travelling from as far afield as Melbourne and Canberra.
“It’s going to be huge,” Cook said.
“We’re probably going to have around 250 entrants.
“It’s been very well-supported (over the years) and its great to have a successful carnival still going strong. The majority of athletes will come from our club, Kooringal-Wagga, and the Wagga club as well as from around the region and the ACT and Victoria.”
Cook said they appreciate the support of other clubs and athletes in the region.
The carnivals are an opportunity for athletes to gain valuable competition experience away from the representative pathway carnivals.
The Kooringal-Wagga event is one of the major carnivals leading up to the rep season which kicks off with Eastern Riverina Zone Championships in Wagga on December 2.
That event will also be hosted by Kooringal-Wagga.
Wagga Athletics Club will hold its club carnival on November 18.
The Regional Championships this season will be held in Griffith in February.
