Shed members have created four “signposts” for use at Spring Jam, which will be held in the Wagga Botanic Gardens on Saturday.
President Kerrie Luff said it took at least 10 members 20 hours to create the signposts.
“We’ve made 44 stencilled signs and put them on some posts. I reckon they look pretty awesome,” Ms Luff said.
With a sunny weather and maximum temperature of 23 degrees being predicted, Saturday’s Spring Jam is shaping up to be a great day out
Being held in the Wagga Botanic Gardens between 10am and 4pm, the new event combines circus acts, adventure play, interactive fun, live music and safaris.
There will be hands-on activities for two to five-year-olds, and “wild and wonderful experiences” for six to 12-year-olds.
Spring Jam has replaced the popular Little Big Day Out, which had outgrown its location around the Wollundry Lagoon in the civic centre precinct.
The event is largely free, but will feature ticketed performances by the Children are Stinky, a group which is back in Australia after a successful appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Children are Stinky delivers daredevil stunts, incredible acrobatics, lightning fast hula hoops, and loads of laughs. And it’s not just all for kids – the show is set in the 1990s with plenty of throwback laughs and nostalgia for mums and dads.
There will also be plenty of “wandering” performers mingling with the crowds street-performer style.
