Hit 93.1, Triple M and the Cancer Council have combined forces to put on Wagga’s very own Girls’ Night In.
Every day in Australia, around 50 women are told they have breast or a gynaecological cancer.
Cancer Council volunteer Molly Hurley said the evening will be styled around a ‘night market’ atmosphere complete with stalls, vintage clothes, live music.
“We are inviting all women in the Wagga community to come along, catch up with friends and donate to this wonderful cause,” she said.
“All proceeds on the evening will be going directly back to women’s cancer research, prevention and support services.
“We are launching this in a simple and fun way for women to come together and socialise whilst raising funds and awareness and to ultimately encourage women to re-create this in their own homes.”
Girls’ Night In is on this Friday, from 5pm at 11 Forsyth Street, Wagga. Admission is free.
